A practical approach of SysML with Agile methods for ISO26262 and AUTOSAR

The trend of depending on software in Automotive Electronics is now throwing us unprecedented tasks such as how we can verify and validate the software of increasing complexity, how we can effectively cooperate to make more reliable systems and the last but not least is how we can manage these results of software to get more efficiency with future reuse. Besides these challenges, short development cycles and long working hours with poor and changing requirements are also becoming major threat to quality and safety of systems at the same time. In order to solve these problems step by step, ISO26262 and AUTOSAR is getting its power to all area of automotive software. However these solutions seem to quite complex to pursue and abide by with limited technical guides and lack of well-documented best practices. The major aim of this paper is to show an example of agile methods with SysML to cope effectively with emerging needs of ISO26262 and AUTOSAR to make more reusable and reliable software especially for innovative software such as Connected-Car system with zero-defect.
