UML modeling of PIM filling simulation software

It has great practical meaning to explore the simulation software of Powder Injection Molding (PIM) filling for improving the product yield and materials utilization, because the defects of PIM products are almost formed in the injection molding process. By the Unified Modeling Language(UML) and object oriented analyses (OOA), modeling process of the filling solver Mold Analyse in PIM filling simulation software Mold Fill is described. Requirement analyses, general design and detailed design are also made. At the same time, various views and standard documents for systemic user model, static model and dynamitic model are built up. The function requirement and function flow, instructions and relations of classification, alternation and communication between objects and I/O data format are described as well. Finally, the filling solver in Moldfill is achieved using object oriented program language. In this way to develop CAE software, the process is optimized and the stability of software is improved.
