The Output Filter Research of Resonance Injection Active Power Filter

As the important part of active power filter (APF), the output filter influences the effect of the whole system. However few papers focused on it. As the example of resonance injection APF, this paper probes into the effect of the output filter from the steady and dynamic state by using the project experience. Based on the harmonic filtering capacity、output ability、dynamic performance and direct voltage, a multi-objective genetic algorithm is put forward to optimize the design of the output filter parameters. The example result shows that the output filter designed by optimization method can meet the requirement of the whole harmonic canceling system better than the ones designed just by experience.
