1.53-Tbps CPRI-Equivalent Data Rate Transmission with Kramers-Kronig Receiver for Mobile Fronthaul Links

We demonstrate, for the first time, an intermediate frequency-over-Fiber (IFoF) transmission system using direct detection with Kramers-Kronig receiver, achieving record CPRI-equivalent data rates of 1.28 Tb/s and 1.53 Tb/s over 40 km and 20 km of SMF, respectively.
