Data reconciliation based on elemental balances applied to batch experiments

Abstract Data reconciliation is a method of analysis which has been intensively developed for steady state chemical processes. We proposed a revised formulation of the data reconcilation to batch reactors where all measurements are treated simultaneously over the total period of experiment. If we assume that all the components taking part to the reaction phenomena are measured independently, our formulation make it possible to use the classical tests and method of steady state data reconciliation. An exemple of data reconciliation for batch processes is given.
