In the area of electronic public procurement, more and more processes are becoming electronic. For the European Union (EU), this meant the implementation of a Digital Single Market which requires a simple and straightforward way of exchanging data between citizens, enterprises, and organizations. One way to achieve this is through the application of the "Once-Only Principle" (OOP). OOP means that citizens and businesses must provide their data only once in contact with public administrations. “The Once Only Principle Project” (TOOP) established an architecture to achieve this through the reuse of data between public services that are connected through the TOOP Infrastructure, eliminating administrative burdens in the process. This paper focuses on the case of extending the Greek “European Single Procurement Document” (ESPD) service to be able to exchange data within the TOOP infrastructure. An overview of the TOOP extension for the ESPD service is given while showcasing the benefits for its users.
