Experimental study on optimal delay in rice transplanting time

To investigate the response of rice yields due to the maturity of seedlings and the transplanting time, experiments were carried out at the Pi Shi Hang Irrigation Experimental Station. Rice yields decrease when an increase occurs in the maturity of seedlings or in the delay in transplanting time. By finding the optimal water use for large scale irrigation projects,rational planting methods can be devised to achieve the goal of optimizing overall yields.
