Three softwares’ comparison in seepage calculation and their application in analysis of core wall type rockfill dam constructed on deep overburden layer

Three representative softwares are introduced and their differences between each other are explained firstly,then the correctness of their seepage calculation results and the utility of theirs are confirmed by comparing with laboratory data.After that,they are applied to analyze the seepage field of rockfill dam with core wall constructed on deep layer.The results provide reliable arguments for the feasibility of the project,since they indicate that the section of the dam is reasonable.
