Dynamics performance effects of longitudinal damper between the low-floor light rail vehicles

Through establishment of a100%low-floor light rail dynamics model, having an analysis of the longitudinal damping parameters for low-floor vehicle stability, stationarity and curve-passing dynamics. The results show that the damping parameters have different effects on straight performance and curve-passing dynamics. Thus, low-floor vehicles should be equipped with semi-actived amper with two damping parameters. Using a larger damping ensure the stability and stationarity when on straight. Using a smaller damping ensure the curve-passing dynamics when passing curve. By detecting relative yaw angle between the body and bogieto judge the vehicle is running on a straight line or curve.
