Due to significant advantages such us lack of ambiguities and resistance to jamming, the noise radar idea becomes popular [1]. It is highly appropriate both for moving target detection as well as SAR imaging, especially in CW radar operating mode. The experiments concerning noise radar and ground based SAR algorithms carried out at Warsaw University of Technology employ demonstrator systems build from Commercial-Off-The-Shelf measurement hardware and a special moving platform [2]. In order to obtain sufficient range resolution, stepped-frequency approach is used. In this paper demonstrator hardware setup and signal processing as well as the results of real scene SAR imaging are described.
