Well completions and workovers. Part 16. Wireline completions - the systems approach
暂无分享,去创建一个
The objective of wireline completions is to complete wells for low cost workovers, minimize rig utilization, and eliminate killing of the wells (along with the potential danger of formation damage by the well servicing fluid). Potential environment factors - things that affect the system but we have no control over - that require consideration when planning a wireline completion are shown. All down-hole equipment has as an objective either to isolate or control fluids (or pressures), or a combination objective of isolating and controlling fluids (or pressures). Bottomhole regulators control the production rate. Safety valves isolate the fluids should some failure occur above the safety valve. Resuming the systems approach, the components involved in wireline completions, how they may be used, and what attributes they have are discussed.
