Study of reliability and accelerated life test of electric drive system

Reliability is defined as the probability that an item can perform is intended function for a specified interval under stated conditions. This paper researches on the reliability and accelerated life test of electric drive system of Electric Vehicle. It provides three different cases of accelerated life testing, and builds the fault tree through analyzing the construction and failure mechanism of the electric drive system. It presents the reliable model of weakness factors in electric drive system through reliability assessment using simulation software. And it confirms the influence factors about the reliability for electric drive system.
