The Optimization Design of v-belt Drive Based on the Fuzzy Mathematical Method

In this paper, the fuzzy optimization principle and fuzzy mathematical method has been applied to design V belt drive. With taking the maximum power transmitted by V belt drive as the target, a mathematical model for fuzy optimal design of V belt drive is established and its solution is determined by complex method and iteration method. Example shows that the fuzzy optimal design method is a scientific modern design method, because the factors considered are closer to objective practice with this method.
