Control for the System with Pure Time Delay Based on Standard ITAE Optimum Function

In this paper,a new control method based on standard ITAE optimum transfer function is put forward for the plants with pure time delay.The closed-loop transfer function of controller and plants is equivalent to ITAE optimum transfer function.Then the parameters of controller can be calculated.For the system with pure time delay,the Pade approximation is used to approximate a pure time delay by a rational transfer function.And an improved system model is given. Using the ITAE controller,the simulation of this control algorithm is studied under the condition of model matching and model unmatching.The simulation shows that the new control algorithm has a better characteristic of stability and robustness than the traditional PID controller.
