Fibriform polyaniline/nano-TiO2 composite as an electrode material for aqueous redox supercapacitors

Abstract Fibriform polyaniline/nano-TiO 2 composite is prepared by one-step in situ oxidation polymerization of aniline in the presence of nano-TiO 2 particles, which contains 80% conducting polyaniline by mass, with a conductivity of 2.45 S/cm at 25 °C. Its maximum specific capacitance is 330 F g −1 at a constant current density of 1.5 A g −1 , and can be subjected to charge/discharge over 10,000 cycles in the voltage range of 0.05–0.55 V.
