Investigation on power generation regulation of Geheyan reservoir on Qingjiang river

Making favourable reservoir regulation scheme for power generation of hydropower plant and increasing power generation benefit are very important to the operation and regulation of hydropower station.Through the analysis on power generation operation characteristics of Geheyan reservoir,this paper summarizes the practical operation experience of Geheyan hydropower station since it was put into operation and suggests a reservoir operation and regulation scheme in the light of convenience for the operation of electric system and capable of increasing the power generation benefit of the power station,and draws the regulation diagram for power generation and operation of the reservoir.The method for drafting generation and regulation diagram of the Geheyan reservoir has some improvement and innovation on the previous base and may be referred for other reservoirs taking the power generation as major function.
