Active Disturbances Rejection Controller for Network Pressure-Superposed Water Supply System

The active disturbance rejection controller(ADRC)is proposed to improve the water supply quality of the network pressure-superposed water supply system. The ADRC is designed according to the system simplified math-ematic model. The simulation model of the whole system is built.Taking the pump head as the input signal,ADRC controller can estimate the unmeasured system state parameters and the real action of the unknown disturbances by extended-state observer for dynamic compensation part.A nonlinear proportional derivative combination in the feed-back path is used to track the error and synthesize the control variable. In this paper,ADRC is compared with PID controller from three aspects that are adaptability, dynamic performance and noise immunity.Simulation results show that ADRC not only improves the system’s dynamic performance, but also enhances its robustness and adaptability.
