Abstract An intelligent fuzzy controller is proposed in this paper by integrating fuzzy control with fuzzy expert system. The intelligent fuzzy control scheme is suggested for a water level of a sulzer low multiply combined circulation boiler with time delays and strong nonlinearities dynamic property. It uses the open loop and closed-loop control, positional and incremental control according to the system's different conditions. The industrial experiment results show that the intelligent fuzzy controller has better control performance and stronger adaptive capability to the noises than the normal cascade PID controller does.
