PURPOSE: A drive circuit of an active matrix electro-luminescence device is provided to receive a digital signal of n bits and control output current values of each RGB channel by using a reference current output portion and a sink current control portion. CONSTITUTION: A drive circuit is formed with a reference current output portion(I) and a sink current control portion(II). The reference current output portion(I) outputs reference current of a particular level by combining a plurality of reference current sources(I1,I2,...,In). The sink current control portion(II) controls a level of sink current according to the reference current of the reference current output portion(I). The current(I1,I2,...,In) of different levels is applied to an input terminal of the reference current output portion(I). The reference current output portion(I) is formed by a plurality of switching devices. The sink current control portion(II) is formed with a multitude of transistor.
