Spatial Gain Analysis on Vertical Vector Array in Shallow Water

Vector sensor has concentric compound form of the acoustic pressure sensor and particle velocity sensor,which makes the spatial gain of vertical vector array improve 4.8 dB.Having compared the spatial gain on vertical vector array and ideal gain by using a typical shallow water environment simulation data,the effect of the source depth,the number of elements,the depth of array and the signal frequency to the spatial gain are analyzed.This work has important value of reference for the application of the vertical vector array.
