Electric muscular exercise apparatus and method for controlling same

The present invention relates to a muscular exercise apparatus and, more particularly, to an electric muscular exercise apparatus and a method for controlling the same, the electric muscular exercise apparatus being embodied to have a small size and light weight such that movement and installation thereof is convenient. The electric muscular exercise apparatus according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a holding part; a wire of which one end is connected to the holding part; a winch drum on which the other end of the wire is wound and connected; a driving part configured to rotate the winch drum so as to apply a preset load to the holding part; and a tension sensor part which is in contact with a certain point of the wire and measures the tension of the wire. The tension sensor part comprises: two outer pulleys arranged along the direction of the wire; an inner pulley disposed between the two outer pulleys and disposed to apply pressure to the wire hung on the outer pulleys; and a sensor for measuring stress that the wire applies to the inner pulley.
