Averaged and sampled-data models for current mode control: a re-examination

A correction to the usual derivation of state-space averaged models for constant frequency, current mode controlled converters produces average models. Using a buck-boost example, the authors compare frequency responses of the model, the usual model, and an exact sampled-data model. Approximate sampled-data models, often written down but seldom exploited, are highlighted.<<ETX>>
