Based on the technology of embedded system,sensor and DC motor control,a home smart cleaning contest robot based on MSP430 microprocessor is designed.The MSP430F5418 microprocessor will process the obstacles and angle information which is got by infrared sensors and electronic compass.According to the results,avoid obstacles and change direction.All the modules work together to complete the task successfully.In the fourth robot competition of jiangsu province,the coverage rate of dust area is 80% and get the first prize.The result show that the system has good performance,and achieve the design requirement.
