부실식 디젤 기관의 유동, 분무 거동 및 연소에 관한 3차원 수치해석

Three-dimensional computation is performed for the flow field. fuel spray. and combustion in a indirect injection diesel engine using KIV A-MB-POSTECH code. Spray-wall impingement model based on the single droplet experiments is implemented to accout for spray phenomena in the prechamer. Shell model for autoignition and eddy dissipation model for turbulent diffusion combustion are employed. A qualitively correct results were obtained through out the intake. compression and combustion stroke processes. More extensive validation studies and comparisons with experimental results are needed for further improvement.
