Method and apparatus for importing content which consists of a plural of contents parts

A method and a device for importing contents including a plurality of content parts are provided to decode/use each content part and structure information of each content part when the contents including the plurality of use constraint information is imported/transformed into one content file by including a header providing a position of needed information into the imported content file. An encoder(804) adaptively encodes the content parts included in the first content file based on the plurality of use constraint information. A header generator(806) generates the header providing the position of the information required for using each encoded content part. A file generator(807) generates the second content file including the generated header. The information required for using each encoded content parts includes the first information indicating the position of each encoded content part in the second content file, the second information required for decoding each encoded content part, and at least one use rule defined to each content part based on the use constraint information.
