Navigation test of ship model for bridge project over navigable river

Effects of the bridge over a navigable river on ship navigation are described by using an integrated method of small scale ship modeling and undistorted hydraulic modeling. Taking the navigation test for the Jing hu express railway bridge over the Yangtze River as an example, the selection of a representative ship group and the calibration of the hydraulic model and ship model are caried out to obtain navigation parameters .
