A Study on the RFID and 2D Barcode, and NFC and Performance Improvement

In this study, a standard guideline is proposed on different types of frequence among those in the US, Europe and Japan which resulted in the lack of compatibility due to lack of defined standard, which is a problem of existing RFID processing method. The aim of this study is to overcome technical limit of the existing RFID and to provide standardization and performance improvement of existing RFID using 2D barcode and NFC. In doing so, it compares the RFID system and NFC system in order to help the system decision to be introduced such as logistics management and history management.
