ADVANTAGES and DI SADVANTAGE S

A method of winding a motor. purported to result in improved efficiency. is presented. The paper covers the differences between the Wanlass motor winding method and the Unity P lus method. The difference between power factor correction and efficiency is discussed. The characteristics that influence the efficiency of a motor are listed. The limitations and restrictions that a re inherent in a motor. once it is built. and the items that a re available to be manipulated to improve the efficiency. are included. The different testing methods and tests. that have been performed o n the Unity P lus rewound motors, are covered.
