상용차 엔진 냉각용 가변 유량식 2단 클러치 워터펌프의 구조 해석에 관한 연구

The change of the flow rate of coolant in engine cooling system is a good method to save fuel and to reduce emissions by incomplete combustion. Using the water pump changing the flow rate of coolant allows the engine cooling system to work in the optimum operation condition. In this study, we have designed a 2-stage clutch water pump which has planetary gears to change the flow rate of coolant for cooling an internal combustion engine. And structural for the 2-stage clutch water pump also have been described in two cases. The results of structural analysis will be basis to design and improve the safety and performance of the 2-stage clutch water pump.
