A Yet Efficient Target Tracking Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks

In this article, we propose error and energy-aware improved adaptive-head algorithm which is an extension of improved adaptive head algorithm. It uses a new nodes' tracker selection mechanism. It also reduces the number of times the cluster head can change. In addition, it uses a multi-hop routing technique for the reason of maintaining shorter communication distances. Many Matlab simulation experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of our proposed algorithm and further its contributions over improved adaptive head algorithm under different network conditions.
