Analysis of Factors Affecting International Engineering Contracting Legal Risks Based on Interpretation Structure Mode

Based on the comprehensive information analyses of 45 international engineering projects undertaken by a Chinese international engineering contracting enterprise, the risk influencing factors of international project contracting are identified from the perspective of contractor itself and host country's legal environment. Then the Interpretation Structure Mode(ISM) is used to research the relationship of influencing factors and analyze the hierarchical relationships among these factors for finding out the fundamental and direct causes of risk events and excavating the key issues of international engineering contracting that should pay close attention.
