The Sintering of Cavities by Grain-Boundary Diffusion

AbstractA theoretical treatment is given of the sintering of cavities by grain-boundary diffusion, assuming vacancies to be annihilated at randomly distributed sinks. Satisfactory agreement is obtained with previously published experimental data.
