An Active Distribution Network Planning Taking Interest of Distributed Genco Into Account

The grid-connected capacity of distributed generations(DG) growths rapidly and it makes the distribution network planning having to be faced with the big challenge, so how to consider the interest of both power distribution company and distributed gencos to promote the improvement of overall benefits becomes the problem to be urgently solved. For this reason, under the premise of ensuring the interest of distributed gencos, taking the maximized income of power distribution company as the objective and synthetically considering such constraints as system security, DG output and electricity price limit and so on, a comprehensive investment planning model for active distribution network before and after the grid-connection of DG is constructed; using heuristic artificial fish swarm algorithm, the simulation of the built planning model is performed by modified IEEE 37-bus distribution network test system. Simulation results show that lower fuel price and the circumstance without bilateral contract can effectively stimulate the enthusiasm of distributed gencos and lead the power distribution company to accommodate more electricity from DG.
