Temporo-polar approach to aneurysms of the basilar artery at and around the distal bifurcation: technical note.

An approach to aneurysms arising at the bifurcation of the basilar artery and its neighborhood is described. The temporal pole of the nondominant side is retracted posteriorly to provide a wide operative field and a better view of aneurysms.
