Loading balance of distribution network by applying immune algorithm

An optimal rephasing strategy is proposed to solve the unbalance problem for the distribution network. The multi-objective function is proposed by considering the unbalance rate and the compensation paid to the customers. Meanwhile, the unbalance rate is calculated to determine the rephasing time. This strategy can overcome the problem of ignoring the economic factors and the problem of rephasing too frequently compared with the common rephasing strategy. The immune algorithm is applied to solve this problem. A simulation system is established and the simulation results show that this strategy can give the power company much benefit while controlling the total rephasing frequency and the unbalance rate.
