The EBBITS Project: An Interoperability platform for a Real-world populated Internet of Things domain

The paper describes the FP7 ICT project EBBITS, which is targeting the Internet of Things and Services domain. The project is aiming at develop- ment of architecture, technologies and processes allowing businesses to seman- tically integrate various external devices, services and human actors into main- stream enterprise systems. The solution should support interoperable real- world, on-line end-to-end business applications. After a short introduction of project's basic facts, the vision and conceptual approach of EBBITS are de- scribed together with a preliminary design of the platform architecture.
