Techniques and critical technologies applied for small and mini uavs - state of the art and development perspectives

The technology and techniques applied in small and mini Unmanned Arial Vehicles derive from full scale UAV and flying model technology. Requirement for the technology applied is based on high reliability request linked with limited dimensions and take-off weight. Airframe struc tures, propulsion systems and take-off and landing techni ques are described in this paper. Analysis of strength and weaknesses and development perspectives of these techni ques are presented also.
