Control and Simulation of Autonomous Hybrid Wind-PV System

This paper designs the control strategies for an autonomous hybrid wind-PV system,and by means of the timedomain simulation verifies the control strategies.The Simulation system consists of two direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous generators,photovoltaic and energy storage devices and related converters.A mathematical model of the system and the corresponding control strategies for direct-drive permanent magnet generators,photovoltaic converter,charge-discharge converter of energy storage,as well as grid side inverter are established in the paper,and bymeans of the time-domain simulation method,dynamic simulation is done for the related control strategies of the system.The results indicate the designed control strategies in the paper are both correct and feasible.
