Influences of Cylindrical Roller Parameters on Vibratory Characteristics of Chain Bearing-Rotor System

A new model for calculating overall stiffness and damping of the rolling bearing was put forward,and kinetic model of chain bearing-rotor system was built on it.Using Riccati transient matrix method,vibratory characteristics of the system were studied.Results show that bearing parameters as roller length,roller radius and roller number influence critical speed and unbalanced response.According to the study,the relation curves between the system parameters and the vibratory characteristics of system are obtained.It provides a foundation to a further study of rolling-bearing system.
