Smith Predictive Control Based on TC Control and Disturbance Observer

Aiming at poor robustness and anti-disturbance of the traditional Smith predictor in actual industrial process control,a new improved Smith predictor control which having robust controller( TC controller) combined with disturbance observer,boasting of simple control structure and adjustable response speed and independent of precise mathematical model was proposed. When predictor model parameter τm of the typical timedelay system changes 50%,the system output becomes still smooth with fast response,this can enhance the system robustness and disturbance and improve the quality of control system obviously. The simulation results prove this method's feasibility and effectiveness to the time-delay system.
