The press of personality: A study of conversations between introverts and extraverts.

In a study of the transactional impact of personality, 52 women were grouped in pairs to get acquainted in two conversations, one with an introvert and one with an extravert. The women were selected from their scores on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and were asked to provide accounts of their conv
