Informerpapers' '3theauthorshave analyzedthebehavior ofhomopolar inductor alternators, considering allnon-linearities and loadconditions. As a logical sequence,a means tofindthemaindimensionsofa new designfora specific aerospacepowersystemispresented. Thelimitations imposedbythehigh-speedoperationarepointed out. Dimensional analysis isusedasa method foroptimizing alternators forminimumarmature leakageforfrequency-changing powersystem. Therelation ofslotwidthtoslotdepthofthe armatureisoptimized forminimumexcitation.
