A Control Strategy for Islanded Three-Phase Inverter with Nonlinear and Unbalanced Loads

The output power quality of an islanded three-phase inverter will be deteriorated with the presence of nonlinear and asymmetric loads. In this way, a control strategy is adopted in the three-phase inverter system to solve this problem. Compared with the conventional harmonics suppression strategy, the faster harmonics suppression performance is achieved with balanced three-phase output voltage under nonlinear and unbalanced loads conditions. Furthermore, the impacts of control parameters on the system stability are also investigated. Finally, the simulation analysis implemented in the PLECS software shows that this strategy is effective to improve the power quality without harmonics and unbalanced output voltage in the case of different loads.
