A mechanically cooled portable cryogenic radiometer

This paper describes a new portable cryogenic radiometer cooled by a mechanical cooling engine instead of conventional liquid cryogens. The radiometer operates at around 15 K and has a performance comparable with that of other cryogenic radiometers.
