Foundations for microstrip circuit design

This study provides a detailed explanation of the design of microstrip components and circuits for microwave, millimeter-wave or high-speed digital subsystems. Design formulae and procedures are outlined and techniques suitable for fast computer-aided engineering are emphasized. To keep in line with recent research in this field, new topics include MMICs, new material on superconductive microstrips, ferrite components and the use of dieletric resonators. There is also further information on microstrip antennas. Appropriate design summaries are provided at the end of most chapters and extensive appendices are included.
