Hierarchical control and simulation on electronic brake force distribution of automobile

It is very important to solve the brake force distribution difficulty at the first braking period of automobile.Based on analysis of automobile braking characteristics,a hierarchical control(HC) method of electronic brake force distribution (EBD)was proposed,which included control and coordination levels.Firstly,the fuzzy reasoning was used to calculate pre-distribution braking force of each wheel.Secondly,a whole vehicle coordination rules was proposed to adjust pre-distribution braking force of each wheel according to respective reference slip ratio.Based on embedded system development platform for auto electronic control unit,the hardware-in-the-loop simulation test of an automobile EBD and anti-lock braking system(ABS)was developed in different conditions.Test results show that the HC of EBD can coordinate braking force distribution of whole vehicle,has good braking safety before ABS control work.
