In this study, weatherstrip, which has function as impact relaxation of door's opening and shutting and protection against bad weather, was developed for drivers. Also, it offer drivers. comfortable environment with reducing noise that occurred in the outside. Then, weather strip's characteristics are determined by sound insulation of item, evaluation of elevating durability of the weather strip according to circumstance, and environmental resistance property after aging. Evaluation of elevating durability of the weather strip is carried out by sound insulation test. And environmental resistance property is perform using ozone resistance test, pollution resistance test, and weathering test. In G/run's environmental resistance test, crack, pollution, and color change are not confirmed. The values of tensile strength and extension rate are 130 ㎏f ㎝?² and 288%, respectively. As well, the hardness is measured to be 72 Hs, and there is no result difference because the same material is used for mass-produced products and developed products. A repulsive force change rate of an aging and a noise shielding performance of the developed product of Glass run appeared to be below 44% and more than 58 ㏈, respectively. Therefore, we could be confirmed that the performance of the developed product has been more improved than the existing mass-produced products. The test of the elevating durability performance of the developed product of Glass run is satisfied 30 thousand times of limit durability, and scratches, heavy operation, connection, and pushing phenomena, etc. is not observed.
