Comparison of SPWM and SVPWM Control Techniques for Diode clamped Multilevel Inverter with Photovoltaic System

The control of THD is a task of the researchers in PV system with two and three level inverters. In this research a PV cell has been designed and its output is stepped up with boost converters. The diode clamp multilevel inverter is used to get three level output. The control techniques such as SPWM and SVPWM are used in NPC multi level inverter and the results are also compared. The controlled techniques and PV system output are simulated using MATLAB and simulink software and the results of three level line voltage and phase current are discussed. The THD results were obtained using FFT analysis and compared.
