Mobile quality of experience: Recent advances and challenges

Quality of Experience (QoE) is important from both a user perspective, since it assesses the quality a user actually experiences, and a network perspective, since it is important for a provider to dimension its network to support the necessary QoE. This paper presents some recent advances on the modeling and measurement of QoE with an emphasis on mobile networks. It also identifies key challenges for mobile QoE.
