Hard dik drive and method for setting write-verify temperature thereof

PURPOSE: A hard disc drive and a write-verify temperature setting method thereof are provided to minimize use of the write verify function while ensuring reliability of write operation by setting write-verify temperature for the head of the hard disc drive and each zone of a disc individually. CONSTITUTION: A write-verify temperature setting method of a hard disc drive comprises a step of measuring at least one parameter related to the performance of a disc in which multiple zones are mapped and a hard disk drive having a head of according to the head and zone(S110), and a step of individually setting critical temperatures for activating a write verify function based on the parameter measured according to the head and zone(S120).
